In accordance with Section 1-13 of the Concession Rules of the City of New York, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (“Parks”) is issuing, as of the date of this notice, a significant Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Renovation, Operation, and Maintenance of Three (3) Snack bars, and the operation of up to Twenty (20) Mobile Food Units at Orchard Beach, Pelham Bay Park, Bronx. There will be a recommended remote proposer meeting on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 1:00pm. If you are considering responding to this RFP, please make every effort to attend this recommended remote proposer meeting.

Subject to availability and by appointment only, we may set up a meeting at the proposed concession site, which is located at the existing facility at the Orchard Beach Boardwalk, Bronx (Block #5650 & Lot #1).

All proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be submitted no later than Monday, September 25, 2023 at 3:00 pm. Hard copies of the RFP can be obtained at no cost, commencing August 21, 2023, through September 25, 2023 by contacting Angel Williams, Senior Project Manager at (212)360-3495 or at Angel.Williams@parks.nyc.gov.
