This is a Negotiated Acquisition Extension with incumbent provider to maintain continuity of services for the minimum amount of time until a new RFP is processed, according to PPB Rule 3-01 (d)(2)(vii). The 6 months NAE is needed to continue services while vendor prepares response to open-ended RFP.
Description

The Office of Families with Children (FWC) of the Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is requesting a Negotiated Acquisition Extension (NAE) to extend for 6 months the 07123N0004 - Freeman FWC Shelter NAE contract to provide more time to release a new RFP and to ensure the continuity of critical services for homeless families with children, provided by incumbent provider SEBCO Development Inc. for 6 months, until new contract is in place. The site services families with children and is located at 999 Freeman Street, Bronx, NY 10459. The requested contract term is 07/01/2023 -12/31/2023. The requested contract amount is $722,193.00 and includes a 25% Allowance which will eliminate the administrative burden of processing amendments for anticipated budget increases such as cost of living increase and changes in indirect cost rates and other funding increases.
