This Negotiated Acquisition Extension is necessary to ensure the continuity of critical services provided to Agency's clients by incumbent provider Services for the UnderServed, Inc. for one year, until a new RFP is processed. Special case is pursuant to PPB Rule 3-01 (d)(2)(vii).
Description

The Office of HIV/AIDS  Services Administration (HASA) is requesting  approval for a FY24   Negotiated Acquisition Extension (NAE) for 68 units of Transitional Congregate housing representing FY24 Transitional NAE for SUS (Services for the UnderServed, Inc.)  St Johns 68U + 25% Allowance contract. Contract Term: 7/1/2023 - 6/30/2024.  Procurement and award are in accordance with Section 3-01(d)(2)(vii) for the reasons set forth herein.  This contract provides non-emergency housing and supportive services for HASA clients. The current contract is ending June 30, 2023 and needs to be  extended to ensure the continuity of critical services provided to Agency's clients by incumbent provider Services for the UnderServed, Inc. for one year, until new contract is in place.
