Description

This procurement is for the use of Sole Source method to obtain the services of IDEMIA for maintenance and support of the Department's Automated Identification System (AFIS). DOC utilizes this system to record the fingerprints of individuals entering Rikers Island and other DOC facilities and verify the individuals who have been banned from visits due to past criminal behavior, unnecessarily putting DOC staff and others at risk. This request is for a new three (3) year contract from March 1, 2023 to February 28, 2026 with (2)-one year renewal options.
