This is a Negotiated Acquisition Extension with the incumbent provider to maintain continuity of services for the minimum amount of time until a new RFP is processed, according to PPB Rule 3-01 (d)(2)(vii). The one year NAE is needed to continue services while vendor prepares response to open-ended RFP.
Description

The Department of Homeless Services Office of Families with Children (FWC) intents to enter into a 12 months Negotiated Acquisition Extension (NAE) with incumbent vendor, BronxWorks, Inc., to continue Shelter Services for Homeless Families at Jackson Family Residence, located at 691 East 138th Street, Bronx, NY 10454. This NAE is needed in order to provide more time to finalize the RFP and ensure the continuity of critical services for homeless families, provided by BronxWorks, Inc., until new contract registration, according to PPB Rule 3-01 (d)(2)(vii). The total contract amount is $6,086,393 and includes Allowance for Repairs and a 25% Allowance which will eliminate the administrative burden of processing amendments for anticipated budget increases such as cost of living increase and changes in indirect cost rates and other funding increases, as follows: Annual Contract Amount: $4,426,467, Allowance for Repairs: $442,647, 25% Allowance (Miscellaneous): $1,217,279. Contract Term: 7/1/2023 - 6/30/2024.
