Description

The uninterrupted continuation of this contract is needed to keep providing Temporary Dewatering, Transportation and Disposal of Biosolids for the Owls Head Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities Liquid Sludge consisting of the solids removed during the treatment process at Owls Head are normally transferred via marine vessel to a dewatering facility where it is processed into biosolids and sent for disposal. But the marine vessel dock at Owls Head has been damaged and is determined to be unsafe for use. The use of mobile dewatering and disposal service under this contract allows for continued operation of the facility without an impact on City residents.
