Description

Renewal of FURNISHING/OPERATION of LIFE SAVING SKIFF RESCUE BOAT. The contract shall provide for life saving (i.e., first aid, CPR etc.) and water rescue services to NYCDOT personnel performing construction, alteration and/or repair work over waterways (i.e., rivers estuaries, bays, basins, canals, lakes or creeks) within NYC in order to comply with the requirements of Section 1926, 106(d) of Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations (19 CFR 1926 106(d)). The contractor is required to furnish, operate, and maintain a lifesaving skiff (rescue) boat crewed by boat operators certified as rescue swimmers and certified in first-aid and CPR.
