Description

The contract will ensure that the Generators operate reliably and efficiently. Without the service and repair contract, the generators are vulnerable to unexpected breakdowns. These generators are used to power up the main sewage pumps upon loss of power from the utility company. Failure of these generators will impact the operation of the main sewage pumps during a utility power outage, which could lead to large scale raw sewage backups into residential homes and or bypasses into local waterways leading to violations of SPDES permits and substantial fines to DEP.
