Description

Governors Island Corporation d/b/a The Trust for Governors Island (“the Trust”) invites qualified firms (each, a “Proposer”) to submit proposals to provide surveying services related to various projects on an as- needed basis, as determined by the Trust (“Services”). The Services shall principally consist of the following tasks:

• Task 1: Property Survey

• Task 2: Topographic Survey

• Task 3: Utility Survey

• Task 4: Subsurface Investigation

• Task 5: Wetland Delineation

• Task 6: Interior Building As-Built Drawings

• Task 7: ALTA Survey

Locally Based Enterprises (“LBE’s”) and Women- and Minority-owned Businesses (“MWBE’s”) are encouraged to respond to this RFP. Any Proposer must identify in its proposal whether it or, if applicable, any of its proposed sub-consultants are LBE’s or MWBE’s. Respondents are also encouraged, if applicable, to include LBE’s and MWBE’s as sub-consultants.

The selected Proposer, upon executing a successful Contract, will then be known as the ‘Consultant(s)’ and shall perform services on a “When and Where” basis in accordance with the processes described in this RFP and in compliance with all applicable Legal Requirements. The anticipated Contract term for the on-call services is for 3-years with 2 (two) 1-year extension options, at the Trust’s option, up to a total Contract term of 5 (five) years. The Trust is not required to direct the Consultant to perform any minimum amount of services during the term of the Contract.
