This is a negotiated acquisition extension with incumbent contractor to maintain continuity of services for the minimum amount of time until a new contract is in place.
Description

Excavation and restoration of streets and/or sidewalks, installing, removing, modifying or repairing of underground conduits, manholes, protective bumpers, installing polypropylene drag rope, installing, removing or replacing manhole casting assemblies, installing fire alarm post foundations and removing fire alarm posts throughout the five (5) boroughs of New York City. The existing contract will expire on January 31, 2023. In order to provide continued service, FDNY will enter into a new Negotiated Acquisition Extension contract agreement with the incumbent vendor, pursuant to Section 3-04 (b)(2)(iii) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules. FDNY anticipates a contract term of February 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $1,498,604.80.
