Due to the complexity of the NYC radio systems and what it requires to deploy and maintain, Motorola is the only entity to provide the quality of service that is needed for NYC.
Description

NYC agencies and mayoral agencies procure mission critical public safety communication systems and maintenance services through the DoITT Radio and Services requirements contract.  These mission critical public safety systems are essential to our City's first responder and enforcement teams.   In addition, maintenance and repair services are critical for DoITT’s Public Safety Citywide Radio, FDNY and NYPD radio networks to function properly. Based on the research of the Agency and subsequent confirmation from the manufacturer, Motorola Solutions Inc. is the sole source for the products and services.
