Description

SAS Statistical and Analytical Software is used to conduct research and data analysis to analyze large datasets for worker fraud and program integrity. The Program Accountability and Compliance Unit was created under the Office of Program Accountability to improve DSS/ITS’s program integrity by developing compliance and coordination throughout the agency, and by conducting advance statistical analysis of DSS/ITS data to identify worker fraud and compliance risk areas. SAS was an integral part of this process.
