Description

DEP intends to enter into a sole source agreement with Intineris North America (Itineris) to implement a new Customer Information System (CIS) and related software modules. The system went live September 7th, 2021 which resulted in a state-of-the-art software solution to manage nearly $4 billion a year in annual revenue for DEP. BCS will also need to enter into a maintenance and support contract with Itineris to ensure its ability to utilize and maintain the system for the foreseeable future. Similar to other large Enterprise Resource Planning applications, Itineris’ UMAX (CIS) solution is a proprietary system that must be licensed and cannot be maintained or upgraded by third party vendors. Itineris has exclusive rights and access to the source code of the application. Itineris is the only vendor that can provide services such as fixing bugs in UMAX’s proprietary code and issuing patches and updates to improve functionality and security.  The total contract amount for these services is $29,453,314.00. Any firm which believes it can also provide the required service IN THE FUTURE is invited to so, indicated by letter which must be received no later than April 3, 2023, 4:00pm at: Department of Environmental Protection, Agency Chief Contracting Office, 59-17 Junction Blvd., 17th Floor, Flushing, New York 11373, ATTN: Jeanne Schreiber, jschreiber@dep.nyc.gov.
