The Department needs to enter into an extension contract with the current contractor because of the need to maintain continuity of services while the Department completes the procurement of a new contract for these services. The contract resulting from this negotiated acquisition extension procurement will be terminated if the new contract awards are registered prior to the end date of the negotiated acquisition contract.
Description

National Claim Evaluations NAE #1 for IME, IMR Services in support of various litigation for the Torts and Workers' Compensation divisions. PIN 02523X000999

We would like to do one Negotiated Acquisition Extension contract for 12 months each as the current extension for IME, IMR and Related services expired on 10/31/2022 and a new RFP with new awardees to replace the current pool of vendors is not yet in place. The Department is utilizing the Negotiated Acquisition Extension procurement method in order to continue to provide uninterrupted IME, IMR and related services because of the need to maintain continuity of services.  This will allow the service to still be available while we continue to finalize awards from the current RFP to have in place for 2023.  The contracts resulting from these negotiated acquisition extension procurements will be terminated if the new contract awards are registered prior to the end date of the negotiated acquisition contracts.
