Description

Brooklyn Bridge Park is an eighty-five (85) acre waterfront park in Brooklyn, NY. The Park is seeking an experienced contractor team for the Pier 1 Entry Building Project. The Pier 1 Entry Project is approximately 1.5 acres and is located just north of the intersection of Old Fulton and Furman Streets. The project will create a pavilion at the Parks main entrance and house much needed Park amenities including a concession, public restrooms and utilities. The new building will be elevated above the flood plain and the pavilion will support a system of Photovoltaic shingles. The project will reconfigure the existing bicycle and pedestrian paths creating a more visible and gracious entrance to the Park. The project will also create a much needed lay by lane off Furman St for vehicular Park drop off and pick up.
