BWT-JOC-CS4: The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)seeks to enter into an agreement with the Gordian Group to develop, implement and maintain complete and comprehensive Job Order Contracting ("JOC") systems for construction and construction-related tasks in various DEP Bureaus including, but not limited to, the Bureau of Wastewater Treatment, Bureau of Water Supply, Bureau of Water & Sewer Operations, Bureau of Management and Budget and Bureau of Engineering Design and Construction. JOC is a procurement method that utilizes an in-place team of contractors to complete Job Orders issued by DEP. The contractors competitively bid a mark-up to be applied to an established unit price book that contains a comprehensive set of construction and construction related tasks. The unit price books are expected to cover General Construction, Plumbing, (Mechanical) Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Electrical (including Instrumentation) trades. In addition the consultant will be required to develop unit price books for General Expense Contracts.
