This NAE request is with the incumbent provider to extend critical services until a new RFP is processed.
Description

DHS is requesting an NAE with CSA Group of NY for one year to provide Environmental Assessment services (EAS) in connection with the Turning the Tide initiative to open 90 shelter facilities and the initiative The Journey Home for an additional 1,000 Safe Haven beds. The vendor’s scope of work for the EAS reports described the tasks that were necessary to secure the environmental approvals required by the NYC DHS to open new shelters. The scope of work included the assessment of project impacts of the following categories: land use, zoning, and public policy; socioeconomic conditions; community facilities; shadows; historic and cultural resources; urban design and visual resources; hazardous materials; water and sewer infrastructure; transportation; and construction. NAE Details: Original Contract Term: 07/01/2014 – 06/30/2017 (3) years Renewal Options Term: 07/01/2017 – 06/30/2020 (1) year Extension Term: 07/01/2020 – 06/30/2021 (1) year Initial NAE Term: 07/01/2021 – 06/30/2022 (1) year Second NAE Term 07/01/2022 – 06/30/2023 (1) year.  RFP is currently in draft and under multi-agency review.
