NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following matters have been scheduled for public hearing by Community Board:

COMMUNITY BOARD NO. 8 – Thursday November 10, 2022 at 6:15 PM, Crown Heights Apartments, 1055 St. John’s Place (between Brooklyn and Kingston Avenues), Brooklyn, NY 11213

 

Public Hearing Items:

 

1.    LPC application for Certificate of Appropriateness for 538 Carlton Avenue

  • Replacing two windows at rear of property
  • Installing small stair bulkhead
  • Enlarging window on Dean Street façade of corner property on the first floor to match the window above.

2.    Potential liquor license applications for

  • Crown Hill Theater, 746-750 Nostrand Avenue (between Park/Sterling) –Full license (DJ, recorded music, karaoke, live music, patron dancing, rooftop, garden/grounds)
  • Nacho Macho Taco, 417 Prospect Place (corner of Grand Avenue) – Full license (recorded music)
  • Stay Press’d, 679 Classon Avenue (between Bergen/St. Marks) – Beer/wine/cider (juice bar/café, recorded music, open restaurants seating)
  • Entity to be formed on behalf of Pierre Paul, 629 Vanderbilt Avenue (between Prospect Place and St. Marks Avenue) – Full license (recorded music)
  • Wakkys LLC, 1174 St. Marks Avenue (between Utica and Schenectady) – Beer/wine/cider (DJ, karaoke, live music, no outdoor space)
  • Cruz Del Sur, 622 Washington Avenue – Full license (back yard, recorded music)
