Description

NYC Health + Hospitals is in the process of implementing a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for all electronic equipment. We require that all electronic equipment information, including the information for Biomedical Devices, be stored in this database. The database will also be used as a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). NYC H+H seeks to implement Nuvolo to help track our ~60,000 biomedical device assets (e.g., monitors, pumps, diagnostic devices, ventilators, etc) across our large network. Our devices are currently maintained and tracked by a third-party vendor who provides a daily spreadsheet of online assets and uses their own biomedical staff to help maintain them. The vendor currently uses their own CMMS, but our technical data (MAC address, IP, software version, etc) exists on disparate spreadsheets. NYC H+H needs to add Biomedical Device data to our existing database to facilitate better control and eliminate tracking with separate spreadsheets.
