Description

The Municipal ID program is requesting a Sole Source purchase, in an effort to stay up to date with current technologies and to be in compliant for planned upgrades on City of New York platforms. IDNYC is in needs to upgrade our servers from Windows 2008 to Windows 2019 servers. The migration will allow the IDNYC to not be left behind in evolving technologies. With the migration, all data on existing 2008 servers will be copied to the new 2019 servers. IDNYC depend on our servers to store and recover program related data. A Sole Source purchase is required, because at present there are no companies capable of performing an Automated Biometrics Identification System (ABIS) upgrade.
