Description

The Contract 1571-RPZ is for inspection and repair of backflow preventers. The backflow preventers to protect water from following back sources within DEP facilities into the City’s drinking water supply. In compliance with the City, State and Federal law, they will be inspect and tested at least one time per year. Their test reports will be prepared by using NYC GEN215B/OP129 form and these will stamped and singed by a NYC/NYS license Master Plumber. These test reports ensure that they are functional to protect contamination of the City’s drinking water supply. If any backflow preventer failed to pass the test, it is consider as a defective device and will be repaired and retested.
