Description

DOF will enter into negotiations for a (4) four-year contract for the purchase of ancillary parts, respond devices, evidence storage and associated professional software licenses maintenance to meet the needs of Sheriff deputies equipped with body-worn cameras. To satisfy requirements under the Comprehensive Police Reform Resolution to Confront Legacy of Racialized Policing and Deepen Accountability, Trust between Police and Communities these cameras will be used to equip the NYC Sheriff’s Deputies in response to the New York State and NYC Council mandates to increase transparency, improve interactions between officers and the public and align the NYC Sheriff’s Office with other law agencies. The term of this procurement is from 09/01/2022- 08/31/2026.
