Description
The Farmers Market Federation of New York, Inc. (the "Contractor"), is the organization that offers services and programs to support and promote New York's farmers markets through the healthy bucks program. The Contractor is a statewide, not-for-profit organization designed to promote and provide support services for farmers markets, farm stands, other direct-to-consumer marketing of local products within New York City and New York State. The goal of the "Health Bucks" program is to educate the public on the benefits of eating more fruits and vegetables as a means of combating the obesity and diabetes epidemics that are prevalent throughout the city. The term of contract is 07/01/2022 to 06/30/2027.
