Description

BWT-PR-151: The scope of work under this contract is to provide the necessary labor, materials and equipment as required for the Replacement of sluice gates, operators and associated support structures of aeration tanks at PR WRRF. The Port Richmond Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) has four (4) aeration tanks that convert the organic content of incoming wastewater to a biological material using aerobic bacteria. In this process primary settling tank effluent is aerated in the presence of activated sludge solids. The major element of this process are four (4) aeration tanks equipped with 52 no’s, sluice gates, diffusers and air distribution piping.
