Description

NOTICE OF FILING

 

Pursuant to §1731 of the New York City School Construction Authority Act, notice has been filed for the proposed site selection of Block 10250 Lot 0001, and any other property in the immediate vicinity which may be  necessary for the proposed project, located in the Borough of Queens, for the construction of a new, approximately 358 seat Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth Grade addition to P.S. 116Q in Community School District No. 29.

The proposed annex will be constructed on a portion of the existing, approximately 74,000 square feet (1.7217 acres), P.S. 116Q campus, which is located on the East side of Wren Place, Rex Road to the South, Polhemus Avenue to the North and Fern Place to the East.  The proposed site will be located on a portion of the existing 116Q campus, in the Jamaica section of Queens.  The site plan and supplemental materials summarizing the proposed action are available at:
