Description

Delivery of Sulfuric Acid - 78 and 93 percent Solution Sole Source to procure 78 percent Solution Sulfuric Acid needed at the Catskill Aqueduct to help remove and maintain the removal of a biofilm that has developed on the aqueduct walls. The 93 percent Solution Sulfuric Acid is needed at the Croton Filtration Plant to treat the taste and odor issue related to less than optimal water quality attributes of the New Croton system due to the presence of specific algae, as well as anoxic conditions at the lower levels of the reservoir.
