Description

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a Real Property Acquisition and Disposition Public Hearing , in accordance with Section 1301(2)(g) of the New York City Charter, will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, commencing at 10:00 AM via Conference Call. Call-in #1-646-992-2010, Access Code 2336-059-0988, in the matter of a proposed amendment of lease as submitted by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (“NYCEDC”) on behalf of the City of New York acting through its Department of Small Business Services, as Landlord, to South Street Seaport Limited Partnership, 199 Water Street, New York, New York, as Tenant, of various city-owned properties (Block 73, p/o Lot 8, p/o Lot 10, and Lot 11; Block 74, p/o Lots 1, 20; Block 95, Lot 101; Block 96, Lot 1, and p/o Lots 5, 8, 12, 13; p/o Marginal Street; and the demapped portions of Fulton Street between South Street and Water Street, Front Street between John Street and Beekman Street, and Water Street between Fulton Street and Beekman Street), located within the South Street Seaport Subdistrict of the Special Lower Manhattan District and within the South Street Seaport Historic District (collectively, the “Disposition Area” or the “Marketplace Lease”).

 

The Disposition Action extends the term of the existing lease for 48 years, through December 30, 2120.  

 

A draft copy of the proposed amendment of Lease will be available for inspection at New York City Economic Development Corporation, One Liberty Plaza, New York, New York 10006, commencing November 26, 2021 through December 28, 2021, exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  To schedule an inspection, please contact Orion Hinkley at (212) 312-1241.
