Description

Re-Bid: Roof repair work consists of removal of partial or the entire existing roof system down to the concrete structural roof slab. This procedure may consist of the following: Removal of the existing roof insulations and barriers which involves full or partial removal of allowable amounts of existing roofing down to the slab (scarify the slab, patch structural roof slab with quick curing patch, prime with asphalt primer, temporary roof/vapor barrier); Carry out repairs of cracks on the deck and application of Asphalt primer; Installation of Insulations and vapor barriers, new drains, liquid pitch pockets, installation of metal flashings; Installation of protection barriers and application of caulking; Minor alterations or maintenance which does not require a permit and will not diminish safety or the integrity of the building; Roof replacement that requires a highly reflected & emissive, waterproofing membrane, and all other ancillary waterproofing work, including but not limited to installation of insulation, vapor barriers, cover boards, coating, sealants, and metal work as specified in the contract document

A non-mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:30 AM, and will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams meeting. Although attendance is not mandatory at the Pre-Bid Conference, it is strongly recommended that all interested Bidders attend and that Bidders thoroughly review bid documents in advance of the meeting.
