Description

PIN: 22AZ005801R0X00 The Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) will be trained to consider the impact of structural, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism on their own experiences, the experiences of the individuals in crisis and the communities served. The goals of this are threefold. First, to improve the quality of engagement with the person in crisis. Second, to improve the quality of the relationship between the MCT and the communities they serve to promote utilization of the MCT as an alternative to police response to behavioral health crisis. And third, to promote safe and healing interactions between the MCT and the community as they travel to respond to the person in crisis.
