Description

NYC Health + Hospitals has been assigned a lead role by the City of New York in managing the City’s response to the COVID-19 epidemic. NYC Health + Hospitals has taken this on in large part through its Test + Trace (T2) Corps. Launched in June 2020, T2 is a public health initiative led by NYC Health + Hospitals in close collaboration with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and other city agencies to fight COVID-19. Through its robust, citywide partnerships, T2 provides New Yorkers with free, safe, and confidential testing for COVID-19 and follows up with contacts to help stop the spread of the virus. Additionally, through the Take Care pillar, the program ensures that anyone who tests positive for COVID-19, has been exposed, or is in quarantine receives care, can safely isolate to prevent further spread of the virus, and receives supportive services to facilitate isolation/quarantine.
