Description

DOP contributes to safer communities by supervising people on probation; fostering opportunities for them to move out of the criminal justice system, into meaningful education and employment opportunities, providing health services, as well as family engagement and community participation. CEO provides pre-employment/employment services to referred high-risk clients on probation. Participants attend cognitive-based intervention sessions with CEO, as well as weekly one-on-one job coaching sessions. Clients will then work on CEO’s transitional work sites up to four days a week, with additional secondary non-employment focused services. State funding has been re-authorized for continued provision of pre-employment/employment services. The renewal of this contract will ensure that these vital services continue to be provided to high-risk probation clients with employment needs between the ages of 18-24. Level of service has been achieved during current contract term and will remain the same during this renewal term.
