Description

DFTA ID 2CF - FY21 City Council/Discretionary Funds Funding to support expense costs for programming at Abe Stark Senior Center.; Funding to support programming for aging population in Council District 45; To provide health wellness classes computer classes and meals for senior citizens at Independence Senior Center.; To continue service to Mill Basin Senior Center at Temple Sholom. Funds will be used to continue to operate a 5 day per week program at Temple Sholom.; To continue a Green Market in Canarsie Brooklyn to provide fresh affordable produce and food for underserved low and moderate income families.; Funding to provide services and support satellite sites throughout southern Brooklyn including Active Adult programs health and wellness classes and other activities to the senior population.; Funding to provide direct services to senior citizens including sponsoring Active Adult activities events and health related classes at senior centers.; Funding to support expense costs for programming at Penn Wortman Senior Center.; Funding to support expense costs for programming at Vandalia Senior Center.; This allocation supports programs offered by vertical and horizontal Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs) with $1300000 allocated towards restoring the loss of pro-bono nursing hours.; This funding will support district based senior services.; This funding will support district based senior services.; This funding will support district based senior services.
