Description

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) invites New York City healthcare providers including FQHCs, community health centers, hospital systems and applied research facilities to submit expressions of interest in utilizing New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing to help finance healthcare-related capital projects in New York City. NYC Neighborhood Capital Corporation (NYCNCC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 administered by NYCEDC and manages NYCEDC’s NMTC program. NYCNCC is a Community Development Entity (CDE) that awards NMTC financing to capital projects that provide community benefits in low-income communities in New York City. NYCNCC plans to award a portion of its current NMTC allocation to help finance capital projects that improve healthcare resources and infrastructure in low-income communities. NYCEDC will review the RFEI submissions and engage with respondents to discuss their interest in receiving NMTC financing from NYCNCC for specific capital projects.

It is the policy of NYCEDC and its affiliates, including NYCNCC, to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected category and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDC’s projects and initiatives. Please refer to the Equal Employment and Affirmative Compliance for Construction Contracts Addendum in the RFEI.

Companies who have been certified with the New York City Department of Small Business Services as Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (“M/WBE”) are strongly encouraged to apply.
