DEP intends to enter into a sole source agreement with Hazen and Sawyer for DEL-444: BWS Operation Support Tool (OST) Technical Supporting Services, Training & Knowledge Transfer. DEP OST is unique in the world, highly complex and OASIS (Operational Analysis and Simulation of Integrated Systems), its core component is proprietary. OASIS system model can only be supported by the team of experts at Hazen and Sawyer that built it and own it. OST modeling is critical to BWS mission of day-to-day water supply in quantity and good quality, and its daily adherence to local, state, and federal requirements, regulations and guidelines.
