Description
BBP is in the process of constructing an eighty-five (85) acre waterfront park in Brooklyn, NY, which sometimes involves restoration work to completed sections of the park. The Pier 5 Turf Field Renovation Project is intended to upgrade the highly utilized playing fields in this area of the park. This project includes the removal and replacement of a synthetic turf field with LED light fixture upgrades

It is important to note that the work outlined in this RFP will be taking place in a completed section of the park that is open and populated by the public. Convenience and safety of the public is a priority for BBP. While the Pier will be closed to the public, site access from the street will have to run across BBP’s Greenway.

BBP has structured this RFP into two scopes of work- a Base Scope for the turf field renovation, drainage, LED light fixture upgrade, site furnishings and an add-alternate related to lead abatement and painting of the pier’s shed structure.
