MINORITY OWNED AND WOMEN OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (M/WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and the City of New York hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age or place of residence. Prospective bidder`s attention is also directed to the requirements of schedule “B” in the proposal concerning M/WBE participation in the contract. The schedule of proposed M/WBE participation is to be submitted by the apparent low bidder within seven (7) calendar days after the date of opening of bids. The M/WBE goal for this project is 20 percent .

Non-compliance with the 7 day submittal requirement, the stipulations of Schedule “B” or submittal of bids in which any of the prices for lump sum or unit items are significantly unbalanced to the potential detriment of the Department may be cause for a determination of non-responsiveness and the rejection of the bid.

Drawings are not available for download and MUST be purchased. A printed copy of the solicitation can be purchased. A deposit of $50.00 is required for the specification book and a deposit of $50.00 is required for drawings set in the form of a certified check or money order payable to: New York City Department of Transportation. NO CASH ACCEPTED. Company address, telephone and fax numbers are required when picking up contract documents. Entrance is located on the South Side of the Building facing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Proper government issued identification is required for entry to the building (driver’s license, passport, etc.). A Pre-Bid meeting (Optional) has been scheduled for January 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Agency Chief Contracting Officer Bid Room, Ground Floor, 55 Water Street, NYC. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Project Manager indicated.
