Description

CORRECTION: The New York City Police Department (“NYPD”) is establishing a list of Prequalified Mechanical Contractors (a “PQL”) to provide labor, equipment, and materials for the Removal and Replacement of Existing Boiler/Heating Systems and Installation/Upgrades of Air Conditioning Systems. NYPD will solicit bids for these projects from mechanical contractors on the PQL. To be included on the PQL, mechanical contractors must possess the qualifications described in the Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”)and meet one of the following qualifying criteria: 1.The submitting entity is a Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) certified by the New York City Department of Small Business Services (“New York City-certified M/WBE”. 2. The submitting entity must be a registered joint venture or have a valid legal agreement as a joint venture, 50 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a New York City-certified M/WBE. 3. The submitting entity will sub-contract no less than 50 percent of any awarded job to a New York City- certified M/WBE for each and every project awarded. The PQL Application will be available online at www.nyc.gov/cityrecord on February 22, 2016 through December 31, 2021.
