Description
The New York City Police Department is submitting a Five-Year (5) Intent to Renew. The renewal will allow continuance of maintenance and support of the current Intergraph computer aided dispatch system (ICAD) and to replace end-of-life hardware at PSAC1 and PSAC2. Contractor, Intergraph Corporation Hexagon Safety and Infrastructure is located at 305 Intergraph Way, Madison, AL 35758.

Improvements will enable the ICAD software to better leverage infrastructure and functionality improvements to the 911 telephony environment as a result of the deployment of “Next Generation 911” solutions. The support will ensure uptime and timely upgrades, patches, etc. of the system. Many of the components of this system are proprietary to the vendor that supports the ICAD system. The equipment is primarily hosted at PSAC1 (11 MetroTech Center in Brooklyn) and PSAC2 (350 Marconi Street in the Bronx). The five (5) year renewal option was included in the original executed agreement in 2008.
