Description
CORRECTION: NYCERS seeks one (1) Senior Information Security Professional to work with the Information Security Unit for a period of at least 12 months with the possibility to extend the term. NYCERS reserves the right to hire the candidate(s) as an employee, at no additional cost, after a period of six (6) months. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will include the enhancement of the agency’s Incident Response, Disaster Recovery and Business continuity exercises to identify gaps and conduct formal incident response exercises. The candidate will conduct at a minimum, 4 or more incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity exercises to senior management and subject matter experts within a 12 month period. The candidate will use lessons learned from these exercises to improve the agency’s risk posture by updating NYCERS plans and procedures and creating an action plan to implement on-going process improvements.
