Description
NYCEDC is offering an opportunity to charter four (4) US Flag Passenger vessels (the “Vessels”) for an 84-month period. The Vessels have previously operated in support of passenger ferry service. At the end of the 84-month period, the charterer will have an option to purchase all four vessels.
NYCEDC plans to enter into a transaction with a respondent on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include but are not limited to: the readiness of respondent to enter into a charter, financial return to NYCEDC over the life of the charter, and the proposed purchase price of the Vessels.

It is the policy of NYCEDC to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected category and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDC’s projects and initiatives.

Respondents may submit questions and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019.
