Description
NYCEM plans and prepares for emergencies, one initiative is the Coastal Storm Plan. Given the magnitude of the requirements to provide support to the emergency shelter system during a storm, NYCEM opted to pre-purchase and stage selected resources, including Kosher shelf-stable meals. The meals are a part of the shelter stockpile and will be stored by a third-party vendor.
