The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is issuing this Request for Proposals to identify two qualified vendors specializing in the delivery of prepared meals and capable of operating in a twenty-four hour, seven days a week setting. There will be two (2) contracts awarded to two (2) different vendors to serve emergency/shelter locations in all boroughs of New York City. The first competition pool is to provide food services to the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. The second competition pool is to provide food services in the boroughs of Manhattan and the Bronx. The awarded contractors would be responsible to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the provision of food services to a large population of adults and children residing in temporary housing facilities. The resultant contracts for feeding of adults and children will be used by DHS and may be utilized by other Mayoral and Non-Mayoral city agencies. In the event of a large scale emergency, this contract may also be utilized to feed adults and children in a post-disaster setting.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 150 Greenwich Street, 37th Floor Bid Room, 2:00pm to 4:00 pm. Attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference is optional but strongly recommended by the agency.
