NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held in the Municipal Building, 1 Centre Street, Room 800, on September 17, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. on the following items:

 

1. IN THE MATTER OF a proposed contract for smart beta/alternatively weighted investment strategies investment management services between the Office of the New York City Comptroller, acting on behalf of the New York City Retirement Systems and such other additional Systems and funds as may be designated in writing from time to time by the Comptroller, and Legal & General Investment Management America, Inc. with its principal place of business at 71 South Wacker, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606. The term of the contract will be up to three years with options to renew and will commence on or about November 1, 2018. The amount of the contract is not to exceed an estimated $7,332,000. 2. IN THE MATTER OF a proposed contract for smart beta/alternatively weighted investment strategies investment management services between the Office of the New York City Comptroller, acting on behalf of the New York City Retirement Systems and such other additional Systems and funds as may be designated in writing from time to time by the Comptroller, and Pacific Investment Mangement Company LLC with its principal place of business at 1633 Broadway, New York, NY 10019. The term of the contract will be up to three years with options to renew and will commence on or about November 1, 2018. The amount of the contract is not to exceed an estimated $12,911,000. The proposed contractors were selected pursuant to an Investment Manager Search Method in accordance with Section 3-15 of the PPB Rules.
