BID EXTENSION: This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is issued to invite interested parties (the “Respondent(s)”) to provide information to advance the New York City Department of Transportation’s (“NYCDOT” or the “agency”) understanding of the capabilities of network-connected street light systems (“Connected Street Lights”) which are designed to transmit, collect and analyze street light operation and performance data, as well as receive instructions to control the operation of the street light.

Following evaluation of the Reponses to this RFEI, the agency may, at its sole discretion, enter into a demonstration project agreement with one or more Respondents. The RFEI is available for download at the following webpage: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/about/doing-business.shtml

Any inquiries concerning this RFEI should be directed by email, under the subject line “Connected Street Light Project RFEI Questions” to dmaco@dot.nyc.gov. The deadline for submission of written requests for clarification is March 21, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. EST. NYCDOT will post answers to submitted questions received by the March 21, 2018 deadline on the NYCDOT webpage at the link indicated above.
