SPECIAL REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION AND DISPOSITION PUBLIC HEARING

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A VOLUNTARY REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS PUBLIC HEARING pursuant to the provisions of Article 27 of the lease by and between S.J. Realty Associates LLC (landlord) and The City of New York (tenant) dated September 19, 1995 for the exercise of Tenant’s Right of First Refusal, will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., 1 Centre Street, 20th Floor, Conference Room D, Borough of Manhattan, in the matter of the acquisition of the entire building located at 1157 Dumont Avenue a/k/a 668 Logan Street (the “Property”), located in the Borough of Brooklyn, Block 4457, Lot 1; on the tax map of the City of New York.  Upon acquisition of the Property, DCAS will transfer jurisdiction thereof to Administration for Children’s Services (“ACS”).

 

The proposed acquisition was approved by the City Planning Commission pursuant to NYC Charter Sections 197-c and 199 on October 21, 1992 (ULURP No. 920224 PQK; Cal. No. 33).

 

The property will be purchased for the sum of $7,100,000.  OMB has allocated funds to close on the purchase of the Property to ACS’ budget for fiscal year 2017.
