The New York City Department of Education (DOE) strives to give all businesses, including Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs), an equal opportunity to compete for DOE procurements. The DOE’s mission is to provide equal access to procurement opportunities for all qualified vendors, including MWBEs, from all segments of the community. The DOE works to enhance the ability of MWBEs to compete for contracts. DOE is committed to ensuring that MWBEs fully participate in the procurement process.
Description
The DOE will contract with Brand Labs to provide technical maintenance, support services, and curriculum development support for StarTCHR, a platform built in 2014 as a pilot program paid for by the Thompson Foundation. StarTCHR offers a professional learning approach that features a traditional, face-to-face experience and a virtual learning experience. Arts teachers will receive targeted support to gain further exposure to the Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts and experience a deeper interaction with the Danielson Framework for Teaching. They can also access a private virtual community through a platform that offers on-demand access to an array of pertinent digital resources. In addition, this virtual platform will serve as a resource for principals, assistant principals, network staff, central staff, and superintendents. The contract term is 2/1/17 through 6/30/18 with a one year renewal option. If you are interested in this negotiated service, you may submit a letter of interest to Xavier Cerda at the 65 Court Street address no later than April 27, 2017 at 5pm eastern time.
