Interested firms are invited to obtain a copy on NYCHA`s website. To conduct a search for the RFQ number; vendors are instructed to open the link: http://www1.nyc.gov/site/nycha/business/isupplier-vendor-registration.page. Once on that page, please make a selection from the first three links highlighted in red: New suppliers for those who have never registered with iSupplier, Current NYCHA suppliers and vendors for those who have supplied goods or services to NYCHA in the past but never requested a login ID for iSupplier, and Login for registered suppliers if you already have an iSupplier ID and password. Once you are logged into iSupplier, select “Sourcing Supplier,” then “Sourcing” followed by “Sourcing Homepage” and then reference the applicable RFQ PIN/solicitation number.
Suppliers electing to obtain a non-electronic paper document will be subject to a $25 non-refundable fee; payable to NYCHA by USPS-Money Order/Certified Check only for each set of RFQ documents requested. Remit payment to NYCHA Finance Department at 90 Church Street, 6th Floor; obtain receipt and present it to the Supply Management Procurement Group; RFQ package will be generated at time of request.

Description
This contract provides for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, together with all work incidentals, required for the removal and disposal of dead street trees and stumps and pruning of major trees (4” up to 60” caliper). Estimation of accessibility to trees via usage of a bucket truck (aerial lift) of the estimated quantity equates to approximately 67 percent ; the remainder will need to be climbed, as directed by the New York City Housing Authority. The work includes removal of designated trees and stumps, surface and buttress roots, and generated debris, furnishing and placing screened topsoil that meets Housing Authority Specifications. The Contractor may be called after 4 pm by the Emergency Services Department for any work needed to be performed after regular business hours or on a weekend or holiday.
