Description
New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking application submissions from early-stage advanced manufacturing companies for funding of up to $30,000 over a two-year period. NYCEDC seeks to support and develop the advanced manufacturing cluster to attract and retain businesses and jobs in the City.

NYCEDC plans to select funding recipients on the basis of factors which include, but are not limited to: the experience and commitment of the founders of the companies, the strength of the business model, the potential to scale, and the founders’ understanding of the industry context and technology.

It is the policy of NYCEDC to comply with all federal, state and City laws and regulations which prohibit unlawful discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status and other protected category and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure certified Minority and WomenOwned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) share in the economic opportunities generated by NYCEDC’s projects and initiatives.
