DHS` programmatic responsibilities include the Street Solutions Program. Under this program, vendors provide a full range of services on site including housing placement services, health screening, emergency food service, information and referral, housing preparation, clothing and linkage to other community based programs. The primary goal of the contractor is to assist these clients in obtaining permanent housing, and provide appropriate services to insure that these clients remain domiciled. This extension will ensure continuity of services for the homeless population while a new, competitive solicitation is processed. Organizations that believe they are qualified to provide these services or are interested in similar future procurements may express their interest by filing with the New York City Vendor Enrollment Center at (212) 857-1680 or via email at vendorenrollment@cityhall.nyc.gov.
