NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Contract Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Spector Hall, 22 Reade Street, Main Floor, Borough of Manhattan, commencing at 10:00 A.M. on the following:
IN THE MATTER of a proposed contract between the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of New York and Steinway Inc., DBA Steinway & Sons, 1 Steinway Place, Long Island City, New York 11105, for pianos for National Dance Institute, located at 217 W. 147th Street, New York, NY 10039, and Harlem School of the Arts, located at 645 Saint Nicholas Avenue at 141st Street, New York, NY 10030. The contract amount shall be $619,872.00. The contract term shall be twelve (12) months from the date of registration. PIN #: 12614S0002.
The proposed contractor has been selected by means of the Sole Source Procurement method, pursuant to Section 3-05 of the Procurement Policy Board Rules.
A draft copy of the proposed contract is available for public inspection at the Department of Cultural Affairs, Contracting Unit, 31 Chambers Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10007, from January 3, 2014 to January 16, 2014, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Anyone who wishes to speak at this Public Hearing should request to do so in writing. The written request must be received by the Agency within 5 business days after publication of this notice.
